Police reported that the driver of the Honda CR-V, 28-year-old Brieonna McGinn of Massapequa, was taken into custody following the collision.
Authorities have announced that McGinn has been charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) in connection with the incident. She was scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash remains ongoing.
